Shake Noodle (Mie Kocok)

Shake noodle is a noodle flavored noodle, a typical noodle Bandung, West Java Indonesia. This noodle is made with yellow noodles mixed with meat, spring onions, fried onions, celery, and broth sauce.


The intention of the name of this shake noodle is in the process of making that stirred. Here are the recipes and how to cook shake noodles:

Shake noodle ingredient:

  • 250 grams of wet noodles, brewed with hot water then drain
  • 100 grams aug
  • 2 eggs, boiled and then peeled and split into four parts
  • 200 grams of chicken meat that has been boiled 
  • 2 tablespoons of ebi then soured with hot water. The ebi roasted then finely ground
  • 1 leaf stalk is sliced ​​coup

  • 2 tablespoons of fried onions



Shake noodle ingredients:

  • 1 liter chicken broth (from chicken stew)
  • 250 grams of shrimp that has been peeled
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Dissolve into a little water



Spice shake noodle:

  • 5 pieces of cloves
  • 1/2 nutmeg then puree
  • 3 cloves of onion
  • 5 cloves of red onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 2 cm ginger then coup
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 // 2 tablespoons powdered broth (if you have it)



How to cook:

  • Bring boiling chicken water together with cloves and nutmeg.
  • Puree garlic, red onion and pepper.
  • Saute ginger and spices that have been smoothed until fragrant
  • Add the shrimp and stir until it changes color after it is set aside
  • Take shrimp stew into boiling broth, stir well
  • Add salt and powdered broth to taste.
  • put the cornstarch solution slightly while stirring evenly.
