Special Fried Noodle (Bakmi Goreng Special)

Fried noodle is a very popular snack in Indonesi. Fried noodle is using yellow noodles fried with spices such as onions, mixed with meat and with vegetables too. Fried noodle is very popular and you found it in every side of Indonesia, you can buy it on the street foods or luxury restaurants.

The origin of this fried noodle is actually from Chow Mei, brought by the Chinese people to Indonesia. If you want to try to cook fried noodle at home, here are recipes to make Special fried noodles.

Special fried noodle recipes
Special fried noodle:
  • 200 grams of wet noodles, brewed with hot water then drain
  • 2 eggs are shaken off to make scrambled
  • 150 grams of boneless chicken meat then diced. Can also use beef, buffalo, shrimp and others
  • 10 Cow meat or chicken meatballs halved
  • 100 grams of thinly sliced ​​carrot
  • 2 tablespoons of fried onions
  • 3 tablespoons oil for sauteing
  • 100 mili water



Spices that are mashed for special fried noodles:
  • 6 pieces of curly red chilli
  • 4 red chili peppers
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon powdered broth (if you have)



Other seasonings as a special fried noodle seasoning:
  • 3 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of fish sauce




How to make a special fried noodles:
  • Saute the spices that have been smoothed until fragrant then put meat and meatballs, stirred until  color change then put water and wait until boiling.
  • Put carrots and other vegetables cook until half cooked then add the noodles, leeks and other spices.
  • Cook until all the cooked and seasonings soak up and serve with a sprinkling of fried onions.
